Guest speaker biography:
Victoria Sutherland is the Senior Economist at the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Victoria leads the LEP’s work to analyse the economic performance of the North East, to ensure that key decisions and work programmes are based on a solid evidence base. Victoria previously worked for the University of Glasgow’s Training and Employment Research Unit (TERU) where she undertook research, evaluation and strategy development for economic and skills development bodies at the national, regional and local level (including the European Commission, Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, NERIP and local authorities).
