Small Business Membership
Our small business offer is tailored to support companies who don’t yet have a middle management team in place and where everything rests on the shoulders of a business owner or small team.
Membership acts as a ‘lifeline’ but also provides peace of mind – somewhere to go, reach out to and answer your questions, whilst also giving you the opportunity to build your network. Small business membership includes direct support from our experienced team, access to: our 24/7 advice line covering HR, Legal, Health & Safety and Tax (with downloadable templates and £1m worth of legal cover); money saving initiatives, B2B data and credit checking; and B2B event programme. We’ll also provide you with the latest, information and insight to support you as you grow, keep you up to date with our policy and campaign work through our regular business brief, and provide opportunities to be part of the conversation though our policy forums and local area meetings.
Medium Business Membership
Our Medium business offer is aimed at businesses who are more established and who have a management team in place with different professional needs and interests.
Membership is focused primarily on supporting these more specific roles, by equipping senior managers and their teams with the knowledge needed to sustain, develop and grow (for many that’s also overseas) through our programme of knowledge webinars, online content and toolkits. Membership includes our 24/7 advice line covering HR, Legal, Health & Safety and Tax (with downloadable templates and £1m worth of legal cover); money saving initiatives, B2B data and credit checking; and B2B event programme. Our dedicated team of medium business relationship managers work with you throughout the year to identify the most relevant opportunities based on your business needs, including openings to partake in roundtable discussions and workshops delving deeper into some of the most challenging issues affecting North East businesses. We also focus on sector specific support and engagement and provide a platform through our larger business leaders’ event programme for successful collaboration between our medium business members and the largest and most influential organisations across the region.
Large Business Membership (President’s Club) in association with Learning Curve Group
Our large business proposition is designed to support the region’s largest and most influential private and public sector organisations across the region. The support and services detailed in our small and medium business packages are a means to support employees in your business.
As a large business, you form part of a reputable group and play an important role in helping the Chamber campaign to enhance the region’s business environment. Membership enables you to position your business, demonstrate a commitment to the region’s business community, work collectively and speak as one voice. Our large business team have a thorough understanding of our policy and campaign work and insight into the region’s biggest challenges and economic performance, and therefore equipped to help identify relevant opportunities for engagement and support across your business.
As well as opportunities for executives at all levels to connect through our events programme, our large business members have access to an exclusive line-up of events, with high profile speakers, aimed specifically at those in senior management roles, providing a unique platform for peer to peer collaboration and the chance to come together to share ideas, develop contacts and business opportunities. This includes or President’s Lunch series; monthly online roundtables events; quarterly Business Insight ‘in conversation with…’ series; and seasonal receptions.
Corporate Membership (President’s Club) in association with Learning Curve Group
Corporate membership is designed to support the region’s biggest employers and those who would benefit from additional time and resource from our wider senior team. In addition to our large business offer, Corporate members receive additional invitations to our business leaders’ programme; access to a series of smaller more intimate high profile events; the opportunity to Opportunity to consult directly with the Chamber’s Policy Team each year, and importantly feed into the creation and delivery of our Stronger North East campaign as we review our campaign priorities on behalf of members and unlimited complimentary group membership for multiple smaller offices, branches or subsidiaries.
Partner membership is our highest level of membership. Partner members are an intrinsic part of our large business network, but in addition have access to key elements that add significant value to your relationship with the Chamber and bring major benefits to your business including exclusivity and positioning; dedicated relationship management; influence and leadership; high profile strategic networking; and additional profile and exposure.
Chamber Global is designed to support members who trade goods or services internationally and can be added to a standard membership for a small additional cost.
