Presenteeism is an issue in many businesses, with productivity hurt by employees coming to work while unwell.
But, how does it differ in impact and response from its more obvious relation absenteeism?
Presenteeism: Employees attend work when they are physically or mentally unwell and therefore are not operating to their usual level of productivity. Tired, unmotivated and sick employees attend work even though they are feeling unwell.
Absenteeism: When a person regularly doesn’t attend work due to illness or injury; often employees will seize any opportunity to take a sick day.
In this seminar, Rachael Ritchie of Qdos Consulting will address the issue in detail and explain how businesses can deal with the impacts of each.
This event is for HR professionals and those in line management, interesting in learning how to better manage HR issues within their organisation.
