This one day programme is a regulatory requirement for those 'low risk' organisations employing 50+ staff, or where the risk assessment dictates there is a need. In addition this is an excellent introductory level for those individuals who want to develop their first-aid skills or who are engaged in activities where the competencies taught are beneficial in an operational or home environment.
The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) programme provides delegates with all of the information, skills, and knowledge to successfully handle an emergency medical situation until the arrival of professional medical personnel. Definitely a great life skill to have.
This qualification has been developed to meet the first aid training requirements outlined by the H.S.E. (Health and Safety Executive) Code of Practice.
• Assessment of the situation
• First Aid Hygiene

On successful completion of this course you will receive an accredited and regulated First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.
