We all know difficult times are here and will be sticking around for a while. The future is uncertain for many organisations. We also know that charities and the people within them are passionate about their mission and delivering their services to the people that need them.
This event will look at how your strategic planning should include thinking boldly about the unthinkable – including discussions on why and how organisations shrink, collaboration and mergers, and closures – and why these are important topics to consider, even if you do not need or choose to take this action, whilst always keeping your mission and people centred.
VONNE will be joined by guest speakers:
Peter Deans, Director of Business Mind Social Purpose, an independent North East consultancy providing strategic management advice to public bodies, charities and social enterprises, and private companies that deliver public services.
Dave Garratt from Eastside Primetimers, a consultancy which offers support to the charity and social enterprise sector. Dave has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 25 years including as CEO for five years of one of the UK’s largest Refugee Charities. He brings wide ranging skills including charity planning, leadership, and operational planning; partnership development and merger exploration, and securing, preparing for and delivering statutory funded contracts and grants at national and local level.
This webinar is free to small and medium enterprises working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector, and has been created to help support business innovation.
