Gateshead’s Advantex checks-in to more success at Rockliffe Hall

One of Tyneside's fastest growing IT firms Advantex Network Services Ltd is dialling-up more success after winning an undisclosed contract to provide new telecoms services for Rockliffe Hall.

The firm, owned by brothers Stephen and Dave O'Connell has secured a further round of work at the hotel and championship golf course in Hurworth, Teesside after delivering successfully a number of other previous projects including IT and wireless.

This latest success means Advantex has continued to work in partnership with Rockliffe Hall since it opened in 2011, reaffirming the hotel complex as one of the Gateshead-based firm's major clients.

A new round of technical support and systems to improve connectivity is part of a contract that also sees the provision of the latest generation of IP (Internet Protocol) phones to improve staff and guest telecoms services.

The whole system is also connected to a back-up service to ensure continuity of services in the event of a disruption to the main BT service.

Previously, Advantex has completed the installation of site wide Internet access for wireless devices and support of critical infrastructure systems as well as event support during the Senior Masters golf tournament held at Rockliffe Hall the last two years.

This was one of the most prestigious contracts undertaken by Advantex at the time, reinforcing its position at the forefront of the IP telecoms revolution in the North East.

Stephen O'Connell said: "This is a highly prestigious contract for us and cements our continued relationship as one of Rockliffe Hall's major business partners.

"We are at the forefront of delivering highly advanced and high performance IP telephone services as part of integrated turnkey solutions to many leading organisations not only on Teesside but across the whole of the North East region."

Ivor Godfrey, maintenance manager at Rockliffe Hall, the only five red star resort of its kind in the North of England, said Advantex's solution provides long-term benefits. He added: "Advantex, as a trusted and valued IT partner, has once again worked hard to deliver a first class service and equipment based around the latest technology.

"With its expertise and system design capabilities they have delivered a solution that not only offers value for money but will meet ours and our guests needs long into the future."

Advantex was established in 2002 and achieved the prestigious ISO9001/2000 industry quality mark within its first year of trading and holds the IOS9001/2008 mark. It is an accredited Microsoft, Cisco and Mitel partner, providing a single source package, which combines to deliver flexibility, added value and cost saving benefits.
