Haines Watts North East and Yorkshire continues to grow, hitting their £7.3m turnover target

Accountancy firm Haines Watts North East and Yorkshire continues to grow having generated £7.3m in turnover in the financial year 2019/20, an increase of 62% on the year previous.

This comes as the national Haines Watts group broke the £100m milestone, recording £106m turnover in 2019/20. The group reported an increase in turnover flowing through from FY19’s new territories, as well as recent acquisitions in Scotland and the North East.

Regional Managing Partner, Donna Bulmer said: “I am thrilled that we exceeded our £7m target as part of our ongoing growth strategy.

“Our success is down to the collaboration of our growing team, including the introduction of new specialist service lines. This has all happened during a year of significant change – moving into our new office, investment in technology and bringing our Newcastle and Gateshead teams together.”

Group Managing Partner, Michael Davidson said: “Hitting the £100m mark as we enter our 90th year in business is a huge achievement and a testament to everyone that works across the UK for the firm.”
“We have seen in the last few weeks especially that our local to national model works well in times of change, we remain nimble enough to pivot to the climate for our clients by staying locally relevant but with the firepower, and manpower, of a national firm.”
