Haskel Moves to Standardisation of Gas Booster Systems to support market demand

To meet market demand for faster delivery and implementation, Haskel has standardised its line of gas booster systems. Making this shift with its high-pressure solutions allows the company to offer customers reduced lead times of up to 75% and more cost savings, while still providing the highest quality and safest products.

Haskel International, a leading high-pressure equipment manufacturer, is pleased to announce the launch of its new standard gas booster systems. Haskel’s development of this standard line of equipment is driven by efforts to meet market demand and reduce costs.

Recognizing how the high-pressure marketplace is changing, Haskel’s introduction of the standardised line will lead to several benefits for customers, including:

  • Reduced production times
  • Faster implementation
  • Lower costs
  • Improved operator safety

"The demand for such fast turnaround wasn’t there before, it’s grown significantly in recent years. The market hasn’t had to function like this until now and it’s a big shift. We’ll likely continue to see lead times shorten,” says Graham Fox, Site Lead at Haskel Europe, based in Sunderland.

By simplifying the sales and service model, Haskel is expecting lead times to be reduced by up to 75% – a significant number in the high-pressure industry. Because standardisation shifts production to higher volumes, costs are reduced overall as well. This shift to standardisation will not replace Haskel’s engineered-to-order model, which will still be significant in serving customers who need custom products, but it gives customers the ‘click and collect’ type of buying process they desire.

Haskel chose its gas booster product line as the first to move toward standardisation because it’s already one of the quickest moving product lines, making it an ideal option for testing the new selling model.

“Our simplified production model will allow us to align with what the market now demands,” states Haskel Sales Director – EMEAI, Jeff Sill.
