Regional winners of North East Business Awards have six days to go before they find out if they have won national honours at the British Chambers of Commerce awards at Tobacco Dock, London.
The companies cover the length and breadth of the region as well as a range of sectors from tourism to manufacturing. They are Blyth-based Tharsus, Beamish Museum, Newton Press from Newton Aycliffe,Gateshead company Nano Purification, Coleman James of Newcastle and Middlesbrough’s UK Pods. All of them have beaten a substantial number of regional businesses to be able to compete against national firms on Thursday, 28 November.
They are supported by North East England Chamber of Commerce to travel to London for the final.
James Ramsbotham, chief executive, North East England Chamber of Commerce said: “These companies are outstanding examples of innovation and entrepreneurship in our region. They are already winners and we wish them every success on this national stage.”
