National Apprenticeship Week 2013The North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) is proudly supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2013, 11-15 March.

Following the success of last year's MP Job Swaps, organised by NECC, a number of other initiatives are planned across the North East for this year's Apprenticeship Week.

NECC has this year arranged for the involvement of some of the North East's broadcasters in job swap initiatives with apprentices from around the region.

NECC Chief Executive James Ramsbotham said:

"In recent years Apprenticeship Week has been a huge success thanks to initiatives such as the job swaps.

"It has been a very important way to highlight the terrific contribution that apprentices make towards our business community.

"I'm in no doubt that this year's job swaps will be equally successful in spreading the good word about apprenticeships."

In addition NECC will be reporting on several landmark achievements made by apprentices across a number of business disciplines such as Dental Nursing.
