James praises Ross for his time at the Chamber and wishes him the best.
Ross Smith, director of policy, North East England Chamber of Commerce said:
“I’ve taken the decision to leave North East England Chamber of Commerce later this year after 11 years. It’s a fantastic organisation, and I feel proud and privileged to have worked for and alongside many wonderful people among both the membership and the Chamber team. It will therefore be a big wrench to leave, but I believe it’s time for me to seek out new opportunities, and for the Chamber to benefit from fresh ideas and impetus in its policy and membership work.”
James Ramsbotham, Chamber chief executive, said: “On behalf of all the Chamber members and everyone who works at the Chamber, we are extremely grateful to Ross for his work and delighted he will be with us until the middle of the year. We wish him every success in the future and I am sure his work will continue to benefit the North East.”
