NECC and Muckle LLP are holding a breakfast roundtable meeting to discuss how equalities issues will be treated in public procurement decisions in the North East. This issue is growing in prominence following the implementation of the Equality Act 2010.
The meeting will bring together a group of private and public sector representatives to hear presentations from Paul Johnstone, Partner and employment law specialist at Muckle LLP, and Angela Hamilton, Senior Policy Research Officer at Newcastle City Council, and to debate the implications for both sectors.
It will take place on Monday 17 January, with registration and breakfast from 8.30am, and the meeting running from event 9-10.30am. It will be held at Muckle LLP, Time Central, 32 Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4BF.
A small number of places are still available for members wishing to attend. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register, or for further details.
