The North East Improvement & Efficiency Partnership (NE IEP), and North Eastern Purchasing Organisation (NEPO) are staging a conference on Doing Business with Public Sector Procurement – Post Spending Review 2010 on Friday 19 November 2010.
The event, at St James’ Park, Newcastle, includes information on:
- Key elements of the work undertaken by the NE IEP’s Collaborative Procurement Programme on regional Public Procurement Reform;
- The impact on local and regional suppliers to the Public Sector;
- Recent changes to public sector procurement with the launch of the new Strategic NEPO organisation.
There is also the opportunity to attend a choice of up to two, free practical workshops.
The free event begins at 12noon, with a buffet lunch and the opportunity to meet local authority representatives from the region’s procurement teams.
